Intel HP Pavilion Dv5 review from New Zealand. A quick look at the design and features, boot into windows with a look at features in operation and starting up a Call of duty 4 multiplayer session. Calibrating LCD screen (thanks cpu2k, notebookforums) For those interested in my settings make sure you have the same video driver as me. Every lcd panel may be slightly different so if it doesn't look right you'll know why. driver: 179.48 downloaded from Nvidia Digital Vibrance - 9% Contrast - 45% Gamma Red - 34% Gamma Green - 30% Gamma Blue - 14% Specs: Model: Pavilion Dv5-1005tx CPU: Core 2 duo P8400 @ 2.26ghz Graphics: Nvidia 9600m gt 512mb DDR2 RAM: 3GB DDR2-667 HDD: 320gb 5400rpm Screen: 15.4" AOC 1280x800 Brightview OS: Vista Home Premium 32bit (clean install without HP bloat, thanks Orev DVD: Lightscribe super multi 8x DVD+-RW Battery: 6 cell (lasts about 2hr on 40% brightness, desktop use) Network: Realtek gigabit ethernet and Intel WiFi Link 5100. 5 in 1 cardreader webcam, remote, expansion slot, express card slot (no tv tuner in it) http://www.sheentv.com
